The inspiration behind the creation of Dee-Lightfully Soft, LLC came from my mother who is always on the hunt for natural and organic ingredients & products. She started mixing butters and oils and giving them to us (her children) for use in place of commercial creams and lotions that are laden with synthetic ingredients.
I became inspired to make my own version of her body butter. I whipped it to make it softer and easier to use. I found it exciting and even therapeutic so I took over and began to make the whipped butters for my mom and siblings and they loved it. I then began doing lots of research and started making other skincare and some hair products.
One morning on my long drive to work, feeling inspired and excited about the possibility of enjoying skincare products that are safe and free of harmful ingredients, I decided it was time to share my products with others and Dee-Lightfully Soft was born.
The word natural is relative and seems to have a very broad definition. To me, natural means as close to untouched as possible. No chemical additives - dyes, artificial fragrances, synthetics or extreme processing.
Our goal here at Dee-Lightfully Soft, is to keep the products we craft and present to you as clean and raw as possible, while keeping prices affordable! We believe that the products you use on your skin and hair are just as important as the food you eat. This is why our products are lovingly made, in small batches, with natural, organic and ethically sourced ingredients. Better for you, better for the environment. We are a member of the Greener Life Club which focuses on four main aspects of a responsibly produced product: carbon footprint, animal friendly, bio healthy and fair trade.
Currently, all of our products are anhydrous (water free) and contain no preservatives. We are constantly searching for and researching "natural" preservatives available so that we can begin to formulate some water based products that will be safe for you - our customer.
Please keep water out of the products and use them within 6 months of purchase. You can easily tell if you should no longer use a product by smelling it for rancidity.
